A big part of my rapid success in reaching my dream goals is that I have changed my focus from being constantly results oriented and high performing to spending 80% of my time on inner work. This means that when I have worked on my own fears, blockages and behaviors, the rest has gone easily! The results have come in the bargain. I still did take actions all the time, but didn't have to struggle.

 

Now I give you the opportunity to take part in one of the tools that has been most powerful for my development, to write for a little while every day. So what do I write about then? It's not something that's settled in advance, but I set aside about 15 minutes every day to process something that comes up at the moment. It can be everything from dreams, feelings and reactions to things I have experienced as a child, as a teenager or as an adult.

 

Consciously doing this daily "cleaning" creates space to allow new things to enter your life. And it's a necessity for you to be able to get to the next level and at the same time feel good about what you do. Otherwise, you will be putting yourself in trouble!

 

We meet for a little while every day where we go through what has come up for you and what you want to discuss.

Many of your illogical behaviors were created before you were seven years old.

You're at work and pissed off at your boss. Again. He or she has put a lot of work on you that you don't really have time for and it triggers you enormously. You come home to your family and scold them, feel guilty and blame yourself. It feels like all the injustices in the world just happen to you all the time! A situation many of us can relate to, I was no exception. But now that I have a toolbox to figure out what's really going on here, I'd like to share it with you

so you can understand what this course can give you.

The boss loads you with work and you get stressed.

For example, this could be about setting boundaries and wanting both appreciation and recognition for what you do.

By stopping and looking at your feelings, writing them down and reflecting, the question why will emerge.

Where in the body does it feel? Is it the little child in you who has had an authoritarian parent? Or is it the teenager

who never felt loved for who he or she is but only for his performance?

You scold your family, feel guilty and blame yourself. 

This may be that you don't think you are valuable to create and make space for yourself for what you need to do, you always serve everyone else and easily fall into self-pity, think that all injustices befall you! But do you see your own influence in what is happening around you? What thoughts are you thinking? Do you only focus on the problems that arise? By writing you become aware of what is happening inside you and trolls burst in the sun as we say in Sweden. When you become aware, you can do something about it!

Who are you? Are there things you reject about yourself?

Why is it important to delve into our shadow sides?

They say that it takes about 30 days to form a new habit, so you need to make sure you do it even on days when you don't feel like it! The benefit on the other side is that you will gain a much greater understanding of yourself and others and you will feel better.

We live in a performance society and you need to shift the focus from your performance to yourself. You need to learn to first accept all your good and bad sides and not to constantly try to influence the outcome of what you set out to do.

When you learn to let things and thoughts come spontaneously without definite action points, you will have to listen inwards. It is not something that we are trained to and it will feel difficult at first. Which sides of yourself do you not want to know about and why?

Without knowing your shadow sides, you will not be able to get to the light. After night comes dawn and it's the same with yourself. Do you feel that you are constantly struggling in your life or do you feel that you are stuck? This will help you move forward in the right direction.

You are the creator of your own reality!
